Sunny today with an expected high of 20C.

Well I managed to get through the long weekend! Saturday I went to a BBQ at my sisters and I drank coolers till I was tipsy! We had surf n turf for din din! I made the Ceasar salad! Sunday we went a Labour Day Classic Party at a friends. We Ate Lasagna and watched our team lose (again). Looks like short of a miracle we won't be in the playoffs this year. Sighs. Sunday night after we got home I fell asleep in front of the TV in the Rec Room only to be woken by my Ubby who seemed quite concerned about a storm that rolled in. Sure enough there was a doosey with Thunder and Lighting that shook the house, high winds and some small hail. It lasted about a half hour then we could go to bed. Ashley my puppydog does NOT like thunder and she shook for about an hour, never letting me out of her sight.

Yesterday I had a relaxing day, we went to the KEG for dinner then we were going to go out to a movie, but, we heard on the Radio that another storm was coming in an hour, so we rented a couple of DVDs and went home. We were concerned about Ashley freaking out if she was alone with thunder. The storm came and went in like 10 minutes and wasn't severe at all compared to Sunday night.

Today I get off work early and head to Bomber Dream Camp. Not sure exactly what to expect, I think I have to work out and train with the Blue Bombers Football team for 3 hours followed by a BBQ. I am looking forward to it! I have packed me gym togs and my signed release! Hope I don't get creamed!
